I’m hoping to move from Florida to Mass next year. I’ve never moved long distence before; I don’t even know where to begin. Do I get a job there first or look for an apartement first? How do i corordinate the movers delivering my stuff with the time I get to my new residence? Tips for saving money on the move? Can I have my car shipped or do I need to sell it and buy a new one in mass?

I’d recommend getting an apartment first, then a job. That way, you’ll know where to send your stuff.
Carry as much stuff as you can in your car, and drive it up there.. You should be able to keep the same vehicle in Massachusetts, if you want.
Takl to the movers about when you want to have the stuff picked up and delivered, and get all dates and costs in writing.
I hope this proves useful.
